Can I be assessed remotely before I fly?

Send photographs of the front, crown and donor area with a description of how the loss has progressed. A preliminary opinion and a realistic graft range can be given before you book travel; the final plan is set in person.

What if I am told not to have surgery?

Then that is the answer. Advanced diffuse loss with a thin donor area is not improved by a transplant, and treatment or micropigmentation may serve better.
