One donor area, spent once. Everything else about a transplant follows from that.
The follicles at the back and sides of your head are the only ones androgenetic loss leaves alone, and they are finite. Every decision in a transplant is a decision about how to spend them.
FUE takes them one follicular unit at a time with a 0.8–1.0mm punch. No scalpel, no stitches, and no linear scar — only dots under a millimetre across, scattered rather than joined. Patients place the pain at 1–2 out of 10 against 4–5 for the strip method, and ordinary activity resumes the following day.
Where the grafts go is a separate question from how many. A hairline is single-follicle work at a shallow forward angle with a deliberately uneven leading edge. A crown is a spiral that has to be rebuilt in its own direction. A female hairline is a proportion operation more than a hair loss one. The same graft count produces very different results depending on which of these is being built.
Density is the threshold at which coverage stops reading as thin: 40–50 follicular units per square centimetre, or 80–100 hairs. Reaching it depends less on ordering more grafts than on how quickly follicles get from the donor area back into the scalp — which is why this clinic books one operation a day and keeps its dissection team resident.
Whether anyone can tell is largely a choice. Five cutting options run from a full shave to no cut at all; a non-shaven harvest leaves the donor area covered by your own hair from the first day, at 1.3 times the tariff.
Follicular unit extraction with a 0.8–1.0mm punch. No scalpel, no linear scar, no stitches.
FUE Hair Transplant detail
Only the follicles being harvested are trimmed. Nothing about the operation is visible afterwards.
Non-Shaven FUE detail
40–50 follicular units per cm² — 80 to 100 hairs — packed close to native density.
High-Density Hair Transplant detail
Reshaping the forehead-to-temple line to correct facial proportion, usually non-shaven.
Female Hairline Transplant detail
The whorl at the crown, where hair grows in a spiral and coverage is hardest to fake.
Crown Hair Transplant detail
Large single-day sessions, and beard or body hair where the donor scalp is not enough.
Mega-Session & Body Hair Transplant detail
Fine single-follicle work on the face, where angle matters more than volume.
Eyebrow, Beard & Sideburn Transplant detail
Grafting healthy follicles into scalp scars — surgical, traumatic, or a previous strip line.
Scar Hair Transplant detail
Correcting a hairline, density or direction left by an earlier operation elsewhere.
