Low-level laser therapy runs through the entire post-operative programme, from the day after surgery to the one-year review, and is used to settle inflammation and swelling early on and to support the growth phase later. O₂ scaling is added at the one-month visit, when transplanted hair is shedding and the scalp needs cleaning rather than stimulating.
Suitability is assessed at consultation by Dr. Kim Dae-woo, who performs the treatment himself. Where a combination gives a better result than one approach alone, that is what is recommended — and where a treatment is not warranted, that is said plainly.
